Porsche Supercup celebrates its champions and gears up for the 2025 season

Scoring five wins at the wheel of the Schumacher CLRT Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (no. 12), Dutchman Larry ten Voorde secured his third Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup title.

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup has honoured the winners of the 2024 season at an award ceremony in the stadium of Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart. Larry ten Voorde won the international one-make cup for the third time. The Dutchman and his colleagues, fellow countryman Marvin Klein and Porsche Junior Alessandro Ghiretti from France, secured the team title for Schumacher CLRT with a total of seven race wins. The duel for the Rookie title saw Robert de Haan from the BWT Lechner Racing team emerge victorious only during the last lap of the season finale. In 2025, the teams will once again contest eight races with the ca. 375 kW (510 PS) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup as part of the European Grand Prix support programme.

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season turned out to be a year of duels. Dutchman Larry ten Voorde from the Schumacher CLRT squad prevailed in the drivers’ standings against Englishman Harry King (BWT Lechner Racing). The duel amongst the rookies was a nailbiter: A collision caused by a rival on the last lap of the final race in Monza threw Kas Haverkort (Uniserver by Team GP Elite) out of the race, forcing a concession to his Dutch compatriot Robert de Haan driving for BWT Lechner Racing. With a commanding performance, the newly formed Schumacher CLRT team from France beat the Austrian title defenders BWT Lechner Racing in the Team classification.“The 32nd season of the Porsche Supercup once again provided fans with great entertainment and countless thrilling battles for position. Our eight races as part of Formula 1 were an excellent endorsement for Porsche one-make cups, to which every team contributed with a high level of professionalism. I’d like to congratulate Larry ten Voorde, Robert de Haan and Schumacher CLRT on their titles. The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup contested eight races in 2024 as part of the Emilia-Romagna, Monaco, Austrian, British, Hungarian, Belgian, Dutch and Italian Grand Prix. 56 racing drivers from 17 nations took the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The Netherlands provided the largest contingent with twelve permanently registered participants and guest drivers, beating Italy (10) and Great Britain (8). Guest entrants from the USA, Brazil and Colombia travelled the longest distance to compete.
Flagship project in the Supercup: eFuels with partner HIF Global
2024 marked the first year of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup running exclusively on predominantly fully synthetic eFuels. The raw fuel comes from the Haru Oni pilot plant in Chile, which is operated by HIF Global. This raw fuel is readied for use through a process known as blending. The final product enables the 911 GT3 Cup cars to potentially run almost CO2-neutrally.
Former Ex-Formula 1 driver Timo Glock as guest starter
Ex-Formula 1 driver Timo Glock lined up on the grid at the Supercup race at the Red-Bull-Ring in Austria at the wheel of the Supercup’s VIP nine-eleven. The German driver, who now covers Grand Prix racing as a commentator for the Sky TV channel, crossed the finish line in eighteenth after receiving a time penalty.
Global media presence
More than two dozen TV stations broadcast the eight races of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2024 live or as on-demand recordings in over 100 countries spanning across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. Additional live images and information were provided by the official Formula 1 streaming channel (f1tv.formula1.com). In addition, the Porsche Motorsport Hub (motorsports.porsche.com) provided fans with background reports, interviews, portraits and live timing of free practice sessions, qualifying sessions and races.
The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in the 2025 season
In the 2025 season, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will once again contest eight races alongside Formula 1. The Spanish Grand Prix will make its return after a four-year hiatus. The 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup remains the race car of choice.

15,790 kilometres: The total distance driven by all competitors throughout the eight races of the season.
3,243 laps turned by all participants in the eight races.
2,724 Michelin tyres were used by the teams throughout the eight race weekends and the pre-season test
326 races completed since the Supercup’s premiere in Imola in 1993.
191.454 km/h: The average speed for the fastest race lap of the season. Rookie champion Robert de Haan (Netherlands/BWT Lechner Racing) set the record lap at the finale in Monza. Due to safety car phases, however, the eighth race was not the fastest of the season.
166.494 km/h: The highest average speed in a race. This median speed handed champion Larry ten Voorde (Netherlands/Schumacher CLRT) the race win on the Red-Bull-Ring.
126.921 km/h: Larry ten Voorde also won the slowest race of the season – on the streets of Monaco.
83.924 km: Distance of the race at Spa-Francorchamps, the longest of the season. Each individual lap covered 7.004 kilometres.
56.729 km: The second race of the season in Monte-Carlo was also the shortest.
56 drivers from 17 nations travelled to the eight season races, 24 permanently registered participants and 32 guest starters.
32 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars competed in the season finale at Monza, making it the most-attended race of the year in terms of numbers.
20 drivers within one second in qualifying at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza during the Italian Grand Prix.
17 years old at the start of the season. Robert de Haan (BWT Lechner Racing) was the youngest registered competitor.
6.176 seconds separated winner Harry King (United Kingdom/BWT Lechner Racing) and second-placed Marvin Klein (France/Schumacher CLRT) in Budapest – the most dominant win of the season.
1: There was only one championship leader during the season: Larry ten Voorde (Netherlands/Schumacher CLRT) moved to the top of the overall standings with his victory at the season opener in Imola and never let it go.
0.555 seconds separated Alessandro Ghiretti (France) from his Schumacher CLRT teammate Larry ten Voorde (Netherlands) in the Porsche Junior’s victory at Monza. Only the Supercup race at Silverstone ended with a tighter gap, albeit behind the safety car.
0.008 seconds was the closest gap in a qualifying session. At the Red-Bull-Ring, Marvin Klein (France) secured pole position just a fraction of a second ahead of his Schumacher CLRT teammate Larry ten Voorde (Netherlands).
