Jolantha Tschudi – the aviator and her dream

Africa explorer, glider pilot - and the world's first female Porsche customer: Swiss-born Jolantha Tschudi embodies the DNA of the Porsche myth like no other. She lived out her dreams. At the age of 18 she was already at the controls of a glider and in 1946 she set off on research expeditions to Africa in a single-engine Stinson, covering 13,000 kilometres. Her next dream, to own a Porsche sports car, came true two years later. And with the purchase of a 356/2 convertible she became the brand’s first female customer.
